Each seated woman has a green leaf plate with flower decorations and oil lamps set before her. Along the right wall stands a row of brass kalasha pots and lamps. A standing woman in white near the centre pillar and a figure in orange robes near the left doorway appear in the background. A distinctive shaved-headed figure is not clearly visible. Bright overexposure washes out the right side of the frame.2014-06-29October 01 20112011-10-01Photo 11681414Large group of women and girls seated on the floor in two long facing rows across a polished white hall, each with a green leaf plate holding offerings, oil lamps and red kumkum in front of them. Many have hands pressed together in prayer. Women wear white, saffron, pink and green saris and salwars. At the upper left a monk in saffron robes stands near the doorway, and at the right a woman in orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits among the rows.
