May 30 20122012-05-30May 30 20122012-05-30A single-storey building under construction on bare dirt ground, with grey concrete block walls partly raised and a pale green corrugated metal roof already in place. Bamboo poles are propped against the walls as temporary supports, and a stack of concrete blocks sits on the right beside a white sack of material. Several windows with metal grilles are set into the walls, and tall green trees stand behind the building under a pale sky. No people are visible.2007-03-30Photograph of a building under construction: a white-painted concrete block wall with a corrugated metal roof section, wrapped in a lattice of bamboo or wooden poles forming scaffolding. Two workers are visible: one standing on the upper roof level near a palm tree at top left, and a second figure in a green shirt partly hidden inside the doorway opening at centre. Concrete steps lead up to the entrance, and red-painted block lines run along the lower wall at right.2007-03-29Photograph of an under-construction concrete building framed with exposed rebar columns, wooden formwork and scaffolding on a dirt site. A blue tarpaulin covers material near the middle level and stacked wooden planks lie on the upper floor. Brick walls and corrugated metal sheeting enclose the foreground, with scattered rubble and a green hose on the ground. Trees and bushes stand behind the structure. A few workers in work clothes are visible on the upper slab and at the building's edges. A printed banner at the lower right carries a partly legible caption.2009-09-22January 07 20082008-01-07 +1 copiesA dry, open construction site under clear sky. A long open-sided shed with a thatched roof of dried palm or grass sits on a low breeze-block and concrete wall, supported by thin wooden poles. Stacks of cut thatch and bundled wooden planks lie on bare reddish earth in the foreground. A large leafy tree stands at the right edge beside the shed. One person in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at the far left near the stacked materials. No ritual activity, deity, or a person is visible.2008-02-19Outdoor construction site under a clear blue sky at an ashram-style compound. Two unfinished concrete-block buildings stand with bamboo roof frames being raised; one has a conical bamboo framework over its walls. Several workers in shirts and trousers climb and stand on bamboo scaffolding and roof frames, while another works near a doorway. Piles of bamboo poles and cut timber lie on sandy ground, with a green-roofed building and trees in the background. No a person candidate is visible.2008-01-07 +1 copiesA construction site on dusty, unpaved ground. A partly built concrete-block wall with a metal-framed roof section stands on the left. A man in a light grey shirt and dark trousers works near a tall bamboo pole leaning against the wall. Heaps of brown earth, gravel, a pile of grey stones, stacked white corrugated sheets and scattered building materials surround him. Green trees and a dry hillside sit in the background, with a blue flag fluttering from a pole at upper left.2007-03-292009-View-of-Construction-Activities +2 copiesDecember 12 20062006-12-12January 07 20082008-01-07
