A photograph of a temple colonnade framing a towering gopuram covered in painted sculptures of deities and figures. Several men in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls walk along the stone pillared corridor in silhouette, some wearing rudraksha or bead malas, and one holds a lamp-like object. A man in white clothes walks at the left edge, and a figure in a white shirt stands at the lower left. Red and white seating stretches across the courtyard below.

Photograph taken from a shaded colonnade at a South Indian temple, looking out toward a towering gopuram covered in painted sculptures of deities and figures in many colours. Several silhouetted figures in orange-red robes and rudraksha or bead necklaces walk in the dark foreground under the stone pillars. One figure at the right holds a folded cloth, and a man in a grey shirt stands at the lower left near a row of red-and-white seating. A gold-tipped pillar stands in the courtyard, with a blue sky above. The image is backlit, leaving the foreground figures in shadow.

Photograph of a procession walking across a stone-paved courtyard in front of a tall, colourful gopuram temple tower with painted sculptures, beneath a pale sky. Several men in white dhotis and orange shawls walk alongside a central figure in a saffron-orange robe with a purple shawl and a large marigold garland, bare-footed and with a red mark on the forehead. Beside him a bearded, bare-chested man wears a red and purple dhoti with a rudraksha-style necklace. A cameraman with a video camera stands on the right, and a line of columns runs behind the group.

A photograph of a large South Indian temple gopuram with a tiered, richly painted tower covered in sculpted figures in blue, green, red and yellow. Below, a stone gateway opens into a dark passage. Several people walk out through the entrance, many in white dhotis and shirts. In the centre foreground, a man wears an orange saffron shawl and orange robes with a rudraksha-style necklace, and another figure in orange walks nearby. Some men are bare-chested with white dhotis. A white lattice wall with carved Tamil-style lettering lies at right.

A photograph of a large, richly sculpted South Indian temple gopuram, its tiers covered in painted stucco figures of deities and celestial beings in blue, green, pink and cream. A stone gateway with a dark passage leads inward. In front, a group of about twenty men and a few women walk through the gateway; several wear white dhotis and shirts, while a central figure in an orange-saffron robe with a garland and a bare-chested man in a red-pink lower cloth are prominent. Some are barefoot. Small white barriers and a potted plant line the foreground, and trees and another temple tower appear beyond the gate.

A street procession moves past a richly sculpted temple gopuram covered in painted deity figures, with a white-walled building and green awning at right. In the foreground, a bare-chested man in a mustard dhoti and white upper cloth holds hands with a saffron-robed sannyasi wearing a long gold-and-bead necklace and a forehead band. Beside them, a man in an orange robe and bead garland walks with a tiered gold necklace over a red shawl. Behind them a crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis, and women in saris, follows.

A photograph of a temple courtyard with a tall, richly painted gopuram tower in the background, its tiers covered in colourful deity sculptures. In the foreground a man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron dhoti and shawl and a rudraksha mala, walks across the paved ground. Beside him a shaved-headed monk in orange robes with his hands folded walks alongside. Another man in white clothing stands at the left edge, and part of a broom-wielding worker is visible. A stone colonnade runs along the right. The appearance of the figure in the centre shows several qualifying cues (long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala), so he is described as a probable Swamiji in an in-person capacity.

Photograph of a group walking out through the entrance of a richly painted gopuram temple tower covered with colourful deity sculptures in blue, green, red and yellow. Two saffron-robed sannyasis lead the group barefoot: the one in front has a white beard and orange cloth, and the other, with long dark hair and a gold necklace over orange clothing, holds his hands together in greeting. Behind them, men and women in white dhotis, kurtas and a white sari follow, with a boy in a khaki shirt and a young child at left. Palm trees and leafy trees frame the scene, and a camera operator stands at the right edge. Two orange-robed figures lead, and the person with gold necklace and long hair may be Swamiji (probable), appearing as an in-person figure.
