On the left, an older bearded man in orange robes and an orange shawl wears several tiers of rudraksha malas and orange-and-white tripundra markings on his forehead. On the right, a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and a reddish-brown robe wears brown rudraksha malas over his shoulders, with his hands clasped at waist level. Behind them a woman in a red sari and other figures stand near an ornate gold and blue wall panel. In the foreground a gold ceremonial object, possibly a conch or kalasha-like vessel, sits on a table.
