The portrait shows a smiling figure with long dark hair in orange robes and a rudraksha mala, seated cross-legged, one hand raised in blessing. The portrait and throne are garlanded with white, red, yellow and purple flower garlands, and small brass lamps stand nearby. Behind the throne a wall of carved orange and gold temple decoration is visible. The portrait sits on a red velvet throne with gold trim and is garlanded with white jasmine, red and yellow flower garlands and marigolds. In the foreground a shaved-headed devotee in an orange robe holds a lit oil lamp toward the portrait. A small offering of flowers sits on the golden base of the throne, and decorative garlands hang along the platform behind. Printed text on the portrait reads Nithyananda. The portrait is a printed picture rather than a physical person, and the only physical people visible are the one devotee in front.2013-01-01January 06 20132013-01-06October 04 20102010-10-04
