A dark stone lingam is bathed with water poured from above during an abhishekam. The lingam is wrapped in a garland of red roses, yellow marigolds and white flowers with green leaves, and water streams down its surface onto a black stone base. A pair of hands holding a flower or cloth reaches in from the left and right edges, and gold-and-red draped fabric and ornate silver-gilt pillars frame the shrine. No people are clearly visible beyond the hands, and no person's identity is established in the scene.

A photograph of an abhishekam in progress. A bare arm in a gold bangle pours water from a silver vessel over a grey stone lingam, which sits on a round base. Water splashes off the stone. Behind it, marigold and yellow flower garlands and gold ornaments fill the background, with a pink-and-gold textile at right. A partially visible person in a maroon-and-orange cloth and a rudraksha mala stands at left. No face of a person is visible, and the image holds no visible portrait of a person.

A priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long dreadlocked hair and rudraksha malas, stands bare-chested at a golden ritual setting, his right hand touching a silver and gold Shiva lingam adorned with a silver-and-diamond face and white tripundra. The lingam is wrapped in red, yellow and white garlands, with a golden peetha base, golden nagas-hooded backdrop and a jewelled golden deity murti behind. Ornate gold and red fabric and additional flower garlands frame the scene.

A priest in a maroon dhoti and shawl with a gold border stands at an altar performing abhishekam to a black stone lingam wrapped in an orange cloth and draped with yellow and purple flower garlands and red roses. He reaches up with his right hand to touch the lingam's silver-and-gold adornments, including a row of green gem-set ornaments, while an attendant in a maroon cloth holds a gold plate of offerings nearby. Behind them, a deity murti wears a red silk sari with gold border and heavy gold jewellery, and rudraksha beads are worn on the priest's arms and neck.

A man with a rudraksha headband, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces pours liquid from a silver vessel over a dark black shivalinga during abhishekam. He wears a bare upper body with a rust-red dhoti and orange shawl. Behind him, a second person in an orange-gold garment assists, and a large deity murti is draped in dense garlands of red, yellow, purple and white flowers. A pink-robed figure stands at right beside a decorated gold pedestal. The liquid runs down the linga into a base tray.
