In the foreground a yellow-painted square fire pit holds dark ash and burnt wood, surrounded by white flower petals. A bare-chested priest with a white head cloth and rudraksha-style beaded necklace sits cross-legged on a low wooden seat at left, reading from a small book. Behind him a second priest in a white dhoti and yellow-bordered cloth bends over offerings. To the right a golden palanquin-style stand holds a deity murti decorated with marigold garlands and a gold kalasha-shaped vessel, with banana leaves, fruits and vegetables arranged on trays below. Tall brass lamp stands and gold pillars frame the scene; the lamps are unlit. The setting suggests a homa or puja with offerings. Two priests sit in front of a golden yagna platform with a small fire: the foreground priest is bare-chested in a white dhoti with a rudraksha mala and a white cloth on his head, and a second priest in a white dhoti sits at right beside brass vessels, bananas, flowers and a kalasha. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure on the central throne, shown in person as a presiding figure with orange turban, saffron-toned robes and garland.2020-03-15 +2 copiesMarch 15 20202020-03-15 +3 copiesPhoto 11728703 +1 copiesPhoto 11728684 +2 copiesPhoto 11728702 +2 copiesMarch 15 20202020-03-15 +2 copies
