February 28 20202020-02-28A seated man in profile sits cross-legged on a red velvet-draped platform before a red backdrop and an ornate silver throne-like chair. He has long dark hair swept back, a white tripundra forehead mark, and white painted stripes across his shoulders, arms and torso. He is bare-chested, wearing a maroon cloth around his waist and multiple strands of rudraksha and gold-toned necklaces, rudraksha armbands and bracelets, and gold rings. His left hand rests open on his knee and his right hand forms a mudra near his leg. He appears to be in meditative posture.2020-02-28Feb 28 2020A studio portrait of a bare-chested man seated cross-legged on a deep red velvet cushion before a red backdrop and an ornate embossed silver panel with a lion motif. He has long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead band with a dark tilak, and white painted stripes across chest and arms. He wears layered gold chains, a gold waist belt, multiple rudraksha bracelets and armlets, gold rings, and a maroon dhoti with gold border, raising one hand in a mudra. He wears layered gold ornaments, a heavy gold necklace with temple-style pendants, rudraksha malas and rudraksha armlets, and a maroon dhoti with gold border seated on a red velvet cushion before an ornate silver throne-back carved with a lion motif. His right hand is raised open in a gesture of speech. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas, ornate gold ceremonial jewellery and a saffron-maroon dhoti are visible; the appearance supports the page's attribution, so he is labelled as a probable match rather than confirmed.2020-02-26 +1 copies
