Photograph of a ritual stage at night with a fire pit (homa) burning in front of a gilded peetha-style throne. A figure in saffron-orange robes, a saffron head wrap, and a red-and-white rudraksha-style mala sits on a red-cushioned throne framed by a golden arch hung with yellow and orange flower garlands, raising one hand in greeting. Tall brass lamp stands with lit oil lamps flank the stage, and a backdrop shows a painted forest scene. In front, a flower-wreathed object sits on a gold-trimmed low table, with silver footwear, fruit plates and brass vessels on the red floor. At right, a shaven-headed priest in orange cloth sits beside the fire, tending offerings with a lamp and bowls. Matching orange drapes line the stage edge. The seated figure has distinctive saffron and mala cues, so appearance suggests a person on the throne, with the priest as a separate attendant.

Night outdoor ritual scene under a white canopy with string lights. Before the throne a yellow-rimmed square fire pit burns, with a brass vessel of food and a flower-garlanded silver stand nearby. Men in orange cloth and orange head wraps sit on the striped mat tending the fire, and a standing figure in orange stands behind. A brass oil lamp with a flame sits at lower left, and a folded book with flower petals rests on a tray.

A standing priest in orange saffron dhoti and shawl with a gold-bordered cloth pours a liquid from a silver vessel into a brick fire pit, where a flame burns beside a golden pedestal holding kalasha pots garlanded with yellow and white flowers. Behind, a golden bronze deity murti stands with raised arms, flanked by a smaller red-robed figure, in a decorated pandal with marigold garlands. A seated figure in orange robes with a red garland sits on a flower-covered golden throne, and another orange-clad attendant stands beside it. Brass vessels and bowls of flowers and grains lie on a green cloth. This appears to be a homa or yagna ritual.
