Outdoor procession of devotees ascending red-painted stone steps under a light grey sky. Under an orange umbrella held by a man on the far left, a smiling young man in a red-orange dhoti and matching shawl with a gold-bordered cloth and gold necklace walks at centre with palms pressed together. Men in white dhotis with gold or maroon borders, some with bare upper bodies and rudraksha malas, walk beside him; one carries a brass vessel and another a tray of flowers and offerings. A woman in white with a red border and a woman in a green sari stand behind with hands folded in namaste, and a pink-patterned umbrella is visible. The scene suggests a ritual procession, possibly leading to a water-side or temple site.2011-07-16January 01 20122012-01-01October 17 20102010-10-172010 - Photo Album +1 copiesDecember 12 20112011-12-12May 08 20122012-05-08 +1 copiesMay 08 20122012-05-08 +3 copiesJuly 16 20112011-07-162010 - Photo AlbumPhotograph of a procession descending red stone steps outdoors under an overcast sky. An orange-saffron clad man wears a rudraksha mala and ceremonial beads. Men in white dhotis with golden or maroon borders carry garlanded trays and a brass vessel with flowers. Women in orange and pink saris and white attire follow, and a few onlookers hold umbrellas. Bare feet on the steps suggest a ritual procession.2011-07-16A procession descends a white stepped staircase with red risers, led by a smiling man in a saffron-orange robe with long dark hair and bare arms, walking toward a cameraman who is filming with a handheld camera at left. Behind him, devotees in white dhotis and kurtas with orange shawls and rudraksha malas follow, several carrying tall poles with colourful fringed umbrellas (chhatris) in red, yellow and green. Some younger boys in white also march with malas. The setting is an outdoor temple-like staircase in bright daylight.2007-12-07January 01 20182018-01-01
