A central fire pit burns with flames, surrounded by yellow and orange marigold garlands and offerings of fruit and bundled sticks. Four men sit on the floor: two on the left in white dhotis, one bare-chested with a green headcloth pouring an offering, and two on the right in white dhotis with white flower garlands, one wearing a green ceremonial cap and the other a white and gold headpiece. Behind them, ornately dressed deity murtis wear flower garlands and gold jewellery against a red curtain, with a brass lamp stand at the left edge.2016-03-27A temple ritual on a raised dais beneath colourful fringed canopies. Three decorated deity murtis sit on ornate golden thrones, draped in garlands of marigold and multicoloured flowers, with a decorated kalasha and offerings in front. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a green sash bends over the offerings, adjusting flowers. Two seated men in white, one holding a microphone, face the altar; one wears an orange shawl. Brass lamps stand on either side, and a red curtain backs the scene.2016-03-27April 21 20132013-04-21March 27 20162016-03-27 +1 copiesApril 21 20132013-04-21 +1 copies
