Facing him in the centre is a richly decorated deity murti of a deity with a golden peacock vahana, dressed in green cloth and draped with white and red flower garlands, with two consort figures flanking it under yellow and red decorative banners. A priest in orange dhoti and bare upper body stands at right performing aarti with a lamp, and a second attendant kneels at the lower right near brass oil lamps and offerings on a red cloth. The scene suggests a Skanda Shasti festival satsang in a temple-style hall.2016-11-03December 02 20182018-12-02Photograph of a puja at a temple shrine before a marble deity murti of Devi Durga on a lion-mount, with a multi-armed goddess figure holding a trident and other weapons, and a standing goddess figure in red and yellow saris to the left. A central dark-stone figure of Mahishasura Mardhini is garlanded with marigolds and roses. A seated priest in white dhoti with white body markings sits at lower left holding a microphone and reading from a paper, beside a silver-and-red ceremonial plate. Brass kalasha pots with red roses, a brass lamp stand, brass bowls of offerings, sweets and scattered pink petals sit on an orange cloth. Gold-coloured oil lamps line the lower right.2022-10-04 +1 copiesDecember 25 20122012-12-25Photo 11744197
