July 11 20112011-07-11A photograph of a satsang hall with a large seated figure on an ornate golden throne (peetha) at the back, in front of a painted backdrop of temple spires. The seated figure wears orange-saffron robes and has long hair; the throne is gold with floral ornamentation and flanked by brass oil lamps and flower arrangements. In the foreground, rows of seated women in white clothes and some in orange and dark saris sit on red mats, facing the throne. A video camera on a tripod and a microphone stand are set up at left, and a few white cloth panels are visible. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure on the throne, identified by the saffron robes, long hair and ornate throne seating together.2011-08-19 +2 copiesJuly 27 20112011-07-27A photograph of a seated audience on orange floor mats in a hall with red drapes, facing a stage. A large screen behind the stage shows a glowing red-and-purple Shiva face with a crescent moon. On the stage, a figure in orange robes sits on a gold-and-red throne cushioned seat, with a trident and a standing statue to the side. Many attendees wear white clothes, some bare-chested with sacred threads, and a few wear orange. Two video cameras on tripods film the stage. The scene reads as a satsang with a seated teaching figure. The figure on the throne is an unconfirmed candidate and wears orange robes, but identity is not established from appearance.2018-04-09July 08 20112011-07-08 +1 copiesAugust 01 20112011-08-01July 30 20112011-07-30A large audience of men in white ritual clothes with orange-red shawls sits cross-legged on a stage-floor hall, seen from behind. On a raised golden throne with red cushioning sits a figure in saffron-orange robes, appearing to give a talk. Behind the throne hangs a large backdrop showing a deity murti group in a decorated temple arch with gold and red tones. Orange and white ceremonial banners with geometric patterns hang from the top, and a small whiteboard stands at the right beside a microphone stand and speakers. A few people in saffron or white sit near the stage edge. The setting is an indoor hall, consistent with a satsang.2010-11-30
