A photograph of a tall, tiered brass lamp stand holding many lit oil lamps on multiple circular trays, with flames glowing against a dark background. The lamp stand has ornate knobbed columns and a curved base. At the far left edge, a blurred figure in light clothing is partly visible. No ritual or event is clearly identifiable beyond the lamps themselves.2011-09-21December 22 20162016-12-22September 21 20112011-09-21January 19 20132013-01-19May 20 20142014-05-20July 14 20132013-07-14September 19 20112011-09-19August 02 20172017-08-02 +1 copiesDecember 22 20162016-12-22December 07 20162016-12-07 +1 copiesSeptember 21 20112011-09-21A tiered brass lamp, a multi-level aarti or deepam stand with many lit oil lamps across its several round tiers, held up in the foreground against a dim reddish background. A blurred shaved-headed person's head and shoulder appear at lower left, and golden ornate decorations are visible at right. The bright flames glow warmly in a temple-like setting.2016-07-15
