Behind him a golden statue of a man in a rust-red turban and red robe, wearing garlands of marigolds and red flowers and a rudraksha mala, stands in a gilded arched niche. A gold-clad figure in a red and gold sari is at the right edge. The scene reads as puja or aarti at a shivalinga in a temple shrine.2018-12-20 +1 copiesJanuary 04 20192019-01-04December 06 20182018-12-06A young priest with a shaved head and a rudraksha mala draped over his bare chest stands beside a black stone Shivalinga on a dark stone yoni-peetha, pouring fine white powder from a pink cloth onto the lingam. He wears an orange dhoti with a leopard-print cloth wrapped at the waist and a gold ornament on a mala. Behind him stands a golden deity murti with a red turban, red and white flower garlands and gold-leaf-patterned arch. A figure in a gold-bordered red and green silk sari stands at the right edge. The scene appears to be a lingam abhishekam inside a gilded shrine.2018-12-20January 07 20192019-01-07December 04 20182018-12-04December 20 20182018-12-20
