A large crowd of men, most bare-chested and wearing white dhoti-style cloths, sits cross-legged on mats in a hall, palms pressed together in anjali mudra. Many wear rudraksha malas and sacred white and red markings on their foreheads and bodies. In the foreground, brass plates hold oil lamps, flower petals, and small ritual offerings. Behind them, rows of attendees and brass ritual staffs are visible. The scene suggests a group puja or satsang observance, and no particular individual can be picked out with confidence here.2019-01-01A seated group of men in white dhoti-style clothing sits in rows on a light floor inside a hall, with white ash stripes on their bare upper bodies. The man in the foreground on the right is bare-chested, wears a small pendant necklace, and sits with hands folded. Next to him a man with long dreadlocks and a white dhoti sits with his palms together. Brass oil lamps, copper vessels, small red and beige cloth bags, and a saffron cloth sit on the floor in front of them. In the background a deity murti stands in a shrine niche on the upper left, and more seated devotees fill the room.2017-01-03April 01 20182018-04-01July 30 20172017-07-30 +1 copiesJuly 04 20172017-07-04 +1 copiesSeated devotees in a ritual hall during a puja, with brass oil lamps and small trays of pink flowers laid on the floor before them. A man in the centre wears glasses and holds an open book, while the man at right presses his palms together in anjali. Orange-robed devotees sit further back, and tall brass lamp stands line the room. Most are bare-chested, wearing white dhotis with orange-gold borders, white sacred threads across the shoulder, and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. Several hold small palm-leaf or paper sheets in their hands. Some have sacred ash or tilak marks on their foreheads. Behind them, others in white and a few people in orange robes sit in rows, with gold-tipped posts visible. This appears to be a group ritual or meditation session.2018-02-04July 25 20172017-07-25
