Before her is a silver plate filled with pink and red flower petals, red strawberries and yellow marigold petals. Tall polished brass lamp stands with ornate bases flank the altar, and gold-decorated furniture is visible at left. She wears a white embroidered blouse and white garments, and another person in pale blue and white clothing stands in the background. The scene reads as a devotee performing reverent obeisance during worship.2010-02-22Photo 11722949 +1 copiesPhoto 11722947 +1 copiesA devotee in a white top and rust-orange cloth bends forward in prostration, forehead pressed to the ground at the feet of a seated figure in orange-brown robes with a gold border. The devotee's hair is tied in a bun and they wear a gold bangle. In front lies a silver tray holding pink and purple flowers and a white cloth bundle tied with a knot. Behind them, other people in orange and white clothing sit or stand under a red and gold canopy, and a camera on a stand is visible. The scene suggests a darshan or offering. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance cues.2014-07-11Photo 11722944
