A single bare-backed priest in an orange dhoti and orange shoulder cloth stands with his back to the camera, raising a lit oil lamp toward a deity murti under a gold arched canopy. The murti is garlanded with white and pink flowers; a gold parasol hangs above it. Gold lamp stands, brass vessels, a blue-draped figure with a white garland, and red floor cloth surround the altar, with pink petals scattered below. The figure's face is not visible, so no identification is made; the presence of a person is unconfirmed.2020-07-05 +1 copiesNovember 25 20182018-11-25July 05 20202020-07-05November 06 20182018-11-06November 22 20182018-11-22January 13 20172017-01-13A photograph inside a temple shrine showing a standing man in orange saffron robes, bare-chested with a draped orange shawl, rudraksha beads and sacred ash marks on his arms, performing aarti with his palms extended toward a lit oil lamp. Before him sits a deity murti dressed in a red and gold necklace, red and pink flower garlands, a green and gold cloth and a green leaf crown, seated on a gold throne flanked by golden lions. Brass puja vessels, a kalasha and flowers sit on a yellow cloth at the front, with a dark deity image and gold-framed panels behind. The man has long hair tied up and a beard, and his face is not visible enough to confirm identity; the appearance cues are only partially distinctive, so no firm identification is made.2020-06-06June 06 20202020-06-06 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple puja before a golden Ganesha murti seated on an ornate gilded throne with lion and figure carvings. The murti wears a yellow silk cloth, red and white flower garlands, and a jeweled crown. A standing priest in orange ochre robes and a rudraksha mala holds a lit flame toward the deity and a small handbell in his left hand. Brass lamps, a kalasha-like vessel, and offerings sit on a tray at the base. Golden standing figure statues flank the scene, with a red curtain behind. The priest's hair is long and swept back, but his face is turned away and no clear distinctive ceremonial cues confirm a specific identity, so no name is attributed.2017-08-22A photograph of a temple shrine with a deity murti seated on a golden throne with lion armrests. The murti has a red face, green cloth drape, a red and white garland, a gold necklace and a flower-decked headdress. A man in orange ochre robes with a bare upper body and white-painted arms stands at right, leaning in with one hand touching the murti and holding a small bowl in the other. Golden oil lamps, a brass kalasha, red hibiscus flowers, a brass tray and a striped mat fill the foreground, and a golden backdrop with ornate textiles surrounds the shrine. The man has long hair and a beard and wears a rudraksha mala.2020-06-06
