The statue wears a heavy jewelled necklace with a central lotus-and-temple pendant, coin garlands, a leopard-print cloth around the waist, and a flag-like golden banner marked with white horizontal stripes. It holds a gold trident in one hand and a long staff in the other. Garlands of yellow marigolds, red roses and green leaves hang from the shoulders, and the background is a gold and jewelled ornamental backdrop. The figure is a murti, not a living person.2024-07-21A photograph of a life-sized deity murti standing against a gold wall. The figure has a silvery-gold face with a red bindi and white urdhva-pundra markings, a tall brown rudraksha crown topped with a crescent moon, and a gold-and-red-stone necklace. It wears a leopard-print shawl, red dhoti, dense gold and gemstone jewellery, and rudraksha malas. Its raised hand holds a trident, and a yellow flower is tucked in its hand. A green and gold brocade cloth drapes the figure, with orange and yellow marigolds at its base. A small side table holds a folded red cloth and jewellery on a brass tray.2025-05-07
