The murti is draped in layered gold and pearl necklaces, a gold crown, and long garlands of red, yellow, white and green flowers, with a large floral backdrop behind it. Brass oil lamps and a silver vessel sit at its base, and a decorated kalasha or abhishekam pot rests on a tray at lower left with flower petals scattered nearby. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible.2014-12-05A photo of a temple ritual centred on a golden, flower-decorated deity murti of a goddess, seated on an ornate golden throne-like structure with garlands of white jasmine and red, yellow and purple flowers. The murti wears a gold crown, silver-and-gold jewellery, a green and gold sari and holds a pink lotus. In the foreground a man with his hair tied up and bare-shouldered, wrapped in orange cloth with gold borders, stands behind the murti and reaches up to adjust its crown. Orange drapery and a gold arch frame the scene. No identifiable a person candidate is visible in the figure's appearance, so the person is described only by role.2012-04-30April 30 20122012-04-30 +2 copiesNovember 21 20182018-11-21Photograph of a garlanded ritual scene at a temple shrine. A woman in a coral-red sari with long dark dreadlocked hair and a rust-coloured shawl pours or places an offering at a tall brass kalasha wrapped in marigold and jasmine garlands. To the left, a bald man with white tilak marks and an orange-and-red dhoti stands beside her. Behind them, golden deity murti figures are seated on a blue-draped peetha, one wearing a red-and-gold turban and the other a gold crown, both adorned with heavy gold necklaces. Yellow, orange, red and purple flower garlands frame the arch. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame sits at the right edge.2016-01-03
