Five women and one man sit cross-legged on woven mats around a yellow-draped offering table holding brass vessels, flowers and pink petals. One woman in a bright orange sari, another in a red and white outfit, and others in pink, magenta and purple saris and a dark red top take part in the ritual. A small golden elephant figure stands at the right edge.2022-01-30A photo of a golden ornate throne set against red draped curtains in a decorated hall. A man seated on the throne wears a golden crown, a red-brown cloth draped over his body, a gold necklace, gold armbands and a long garland of white and pink flowers, and gestures with one raised hand while speaking. He sits on a tiger-striped cloth with bare feet resting near a basin. Beside him a golden staff stands upright. A man in white ritual cloth, seen from behind, sits at the foot of the throne. Two women in white saris with red borders stand at right, one with palms joined in greeting.2016-05-24Two women perform puja before a seated figure in a golden temple hall with polished reddish floor and gilded pillars. The seated statue wears a red turban, red robe, white flower garland and rudraksha mala, raising one hand in blessing on an ornate golden throne arch. The woman on the left, in a pink-red silk sari, presses her palms together in namaskar. The woman on the right, with a long braid and cream sari with gold border, sits before a brass plate of flowers and offerings. Brass oil lamps stand beside the throne, and a green deity murti stands in the background. This is a statue, not a living person.2022-02-05Photo of a ceremonial reception on a stage. A man seated on an ornate gold throne with red cushions wears a red-and-orange turban-style headdress, a dark red garment, gold bangles and a large garland of red, orange and yellow flowers. Devotees bow before him: a woman in an orange-and-brown sari with green borders presses her palms together, a man in a white shirt bends forward, and a woman in a green top and orange shawl bows low at his feet. A shaven-headed man in white with a white forehead mark stands at left, and a young person in orange sits near the edge. A golden lion sculpture rests at the throne's base, with a red curtain and blue wall behind.2013-11-17November 10 20182018-11-10July 21 2022 Sripuram2022-07-21 +1 copies
