A photograph of a temple shrine with a large ornate deity murti of a standing Shiva-form figure crowned with a tall headdress, holding a trident, flanked by a second deity murti with a crown and yellow garment, all draped in heavy jewelled necklaces and gold ornaments. Yellow and white flower garlands hang along the murtis and pillars. In front, a silver linga-shaped abhishekam vessel stands with lamps lit on it. At the lower left, a priest in a white dhoti with a red cloth at the waist pours or offers something at the central altar. Two smaller standing murtis with garlands stand at either side, and red curtains hang behind the shrine. Possibly a puja or abhishekam at a temple in Los Angeles.2020-12-15October 12 20182018-10-12December 20 20182018-12-20 +1 copiesOctober 09 20182018-10-09Indoor temple scene with a gold ornate backdrop draped with white and yellow flower garlands. Three seated deity murti stand in a row, dressed in colourful silk garments with gold necklaces and crowns. A bare-chested priest in orange dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala and a face covering, stands at right holding a small brass vessel during puja beside a side altar with a kalasha-like offering. The setting suggests a ritual worship, possibly abhishekam or puja, with petals scattered on the table. No clearly identifiable living a person is visible, and the priest's appearance is too uncertain to attribute to him.2021-11-17KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/30/20212021-01-30KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/9/20212021-01-09August 27 20182018-08-27KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/2/20212021-01-02Photograph inside a gold-decorated temple shrine. A young boy in an orange dhoti and leopard-print shawl, bare-chested with white sacred ash markings and rudraksha malas, pours liquid from a cloth bag onto a dark stone shivalingam set on a black pedestal. Behind him stand gilded deity murtis of a crowned male figure holding a trident and a female figure in a green and red sari, both adorned with jewelled necklaces and red-and-white flower garlands, framed by an ornate jewelled arch. A small deity murti with a flower garland and a brass lion sit at the base. The scene suggests abhishekam.2018-12-20 +1 copiesKAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/18/20212021-01-18A temple shrine with gilded golden deity murtis of a male and female form draped in flower garlands, the male figure with a crown and trident-like emblem and the female in a purple sari. In the foreground a man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala stands at a golden altar, holding a ritual implement over a white-draped seat where a small saffron-clad figure sits, with fruit, marigolds and kalasha-style offerings arranged around. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a large golden table is piled with yellow and red marigold garlands. Another orange-robed person stands at the left edge. Whether the man in orange is a person cannot be determined from appearance alone.2010-07-21
