In the foreground a figure with long matted dark locks, wearing an orange cloth and a flower garland over the shoulders, raises an arm to touch the murti's forehead in devotion. The murti holds weapons and a sword-like implement in its raised hands, set before a white ornate backdrop and a painted red panel with figures. A corrugated metal roof overhead suggests a temporary pandal setting.2016-10-08September 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copiesPhoto 11706643 +2 copiesSeptember 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copiesSeptember 27 20172017-09-27 +2 copiesSeptember 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copiesOctober 16 20182018-10-16October 16 20182018-10-16A figure seen from behind, with long dreadlocked black hair and a garland of white jasmine and red flowers around the neck, wearing an orange-brown garment, reaches up to touch the forehead of a large yellow-faced Durga-style deity murti. The murti wears a white crown, a white and gold embroidered sari-like garment, white floral garlands with red flowers, and holds weapons including a sword and trident-like implement in its multiple raised arms. A painted red and colourful backdrop with figures sits behind the murti under a corrugated metal roof. The scene suggests a devi pranapratishta or darshan moment at the idol.2016-10-08 +1 copiesSeptember 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copies
