The figure sits on an ornate throne covered with rows of pink, purple and white jewelled and sequined rosettes arranged in arched panels. The image is a sculpted or decorated figure, not a living person, with a small bird logo in the top-left corner.2017-12-30A golden statue of a smiling male figure, shown in a sculpted depiction rather than a live person, stands before a backdrop of peacock feather eyes. The figure wears a maroon turban with jewelled band and ornament, a red tilak on the forehead, white jasmine and red rose garlands, layered pearl and bead necklaces, a jewelled pendant and rust-orange ceremonial clothing. The raised golden hand holds a staff topped with a peacock feather, and red velvet drapery and scattered gold petals surround the scene. The statue appears to be a deity murti or devotional depiction of a guru figure, with no visible physical people.2022-01-19
