A hand wearing a gold bracelet tips a large silver-embossed vessel, sending spray into the air. At left, a partially visible priest in orange and saffron robes with a yellow sash sits beside the lingam. Behind, heaped garlands of marigolds and red flowers and orange cloth fill the background, with a lit oil lamp at right. Only the two partially visible people are present; no candidate for a person is clearly visible.2015-02-19September 26 20182018-09-26October 04 20182018-10-04Close photo of a temple abhishekam at a black stone shivalinga on a dark stone pedestal. A priest with bare upper body and a saffron-orange cloth draped over the shoulders pours milky white liquid from a gold kalasha pot onto the lingam, the liquid cascading down its sides. Behind it a purple cloth backdrop, gilded ornate temple framing, and a red and gold silk cloth hang above. A saffron cloth is wrapped around the base. Rudraksha bracelets are visible on the priest's wrist. No visible face is shown; the scene is focused on the ritual pouring.2021-08-21
