A jewelled ornament with gold coins hangs around the pot, and a gold-coloured carved structure stands in the background beside a silver pillar. No people are visible; the kalasha is a ritual vessel arranged for a ceremony.2015-10-18Close-up photograph of a silver-chased ceremonial seat or peetha decorated for a deity darshan. Its ornate silver backrest is draped with magenta and pink rose garlands and bright yellow marigold garlands. A gold-bordered maroon silk cloth covers the base, with gold necklaces laid across it. A brass kalasha with green leaves and pink flowers sits at the centre, with a small oil lamp burning in front. Two standing figures in white dhoti are partly visible at the upper right, and a blurred background suggests a temple hall. No person is clearly identifiable as a person.2017-09-26 +1 copies
