The figure wears a dark red-brown turban adorned with gold floral studs, a golden crescent ornament at the front, and a rudraksha mala wrapped around the head. Multiple layered necklaces of gold beads, jewelled pendants and a jewelled chest ornament are worn over a deep red shawl, with a leopard-print wrap at the waist and a jewelled belt. The statue raises its right palm in a blessing gesture while the left hand rests near the waist. This is a statue, not a physical person, depicting a deity-like sage with a crescent ornament.2020-06-06June 25 20182018-06-25
