Front-row boys play large barrel drums with sticks, one carrying a bundled drum with white straps, while others play long brass horns. Each has white headbands, tilak marks and beaded necklaces. Behind them a crowd in orange and red robes follows, with ornate decorated parasols and a lantern-like standard raised above.
