The figure wears a maroon and brown garment, a leopard-print shawl over one shoulder, a turban-style headdress with a jewelled ornament, layered rudraksha-style beads, a jewelled pendant and gold necklaces. Its hands rest in mudra poses. Behind it is an ornate gold arch topped with a carved lion-face motif, framed by thick garlands of red rose petals and white jasmine with blue and orange accents. Green foliage and marigold garlands decorate the base. This is a statue, not a living person, so no physical people are present.2018-05-19December 29 20182018-12-29A photograph of a seated deity murti displayed for darshan on a golden throne.
