A single small figure in light clothing stands near the trunk base. To the right, a small shrine with a white arched frame and red curtain holds a dark stone deity murti decorated with a flower garland. Red-brick raised planters surround the trunk; a golden statue is visible further back among trees.2017-10-12A large, sprawling banyan tree dominates the frame, its thick aerial roots and long horizontal limbs spreading across a garden courtyard. Beneath the branches stands a small open shrine with a white pillared canopy housing a deity murti draped in red and garlanded with orange-yellow flowers, set on a dark red-flower-strewn base. A white curved stone border edges a sandy path, and thin metal poles stand among the branches. Beneath the canopy at right stands a small white open pavilion sheltering a dark stone deity murti or shivalinga-like form decorated with orange and yellow marigold garlands, set on a red painted base. A tall metal pole and light fixture rise nearby, and a white-walled compound edge and sandy ground surround the tree. No people are visible.2008-12-10October 12 20172017-10-12 +1 copies
