February 04 20182018-02-04A photograph of a shirtless man seated with his head bowed slightly, smiling, receiving a blessing from a man in saffron-orange robes with long dreadlocked hair, a dark beard, gold earring and multiple rudraksha malas. The blessing man presses a hand to the seated man's forehead while holding a white paper, and bowls of red fruit sit on a green cloth beside them. Other saffron-clad people stand in the background near a golden throne. The scene suggests a diksha or darshan blessing. The blessing man has distinctive long dreadlocks, rudraksha malas and ceremonial adornments, matching the page's description of an event with a person present, so he is a person candidate.2018-02-04Photo 11717163 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial blessing. A bare-chested man with long dreadlocked black hair, a white forehead mark, rudraksha malas and a red-brown dhoti with gold border stands at right, placing his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in white clothes with an orange shawl and rudraksha beads. The kneeling man holds a small folded white paper. Behind them stand several people in white and orange-red garments with rudraksha malas, and a gold-decorated wall is visible. Visible people: about six or seven.2017-08-09 +1 copiesPhoto 11717429 +1 copiesNight-time outdoor darshan at a temple courtyard. A man in rust-red robes, rudraksha malas and a thick gold armband sits on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions and places his right hand on the head of a bare-chested devotee in a white dhoti who kneels before him. Beside them a saffron-clad attendant with rudraksha malas holds a white cloth, and another white-clad man holds a tray of red fruit. Behind them, several people in white dhotis and saffron robes stand and sit on a stone-tiled platform near a potted plant and a green cloth. A stone pillar and a figure in a blue jacket appear at the right edge. Swamiji candidate appears seated on the throne; appearance cues include long swept-back hair, a dark beard, rudraksha malas and gold earrings, so this is a probable identification.2018-02-04January 10 20182018-01-10 +1 copiesApril 28 20162016-04-28 +1 copiesPhoto 11714865 +2 copiesAugust 09 20172017-08-09 +2 copiesPhoto 11743743 +1 copiesMay 03 20172017-05-03
