Outdoor photo of a crowd of devotees gathered around a grey stone shrine with a stepped pyramidal top, set against a concrete block wall. Many devotees wear rudraksha malas; some women wear orange or red saris, others white with gold borders. Several people in the foreground have white dhotis with gold borders, and a figure in an orange cloth with long dreadlocked hair kneels at the base of the shrine. An older white-haired man in white with rudraksha beads presses his hand to the stone while others fold hands in prayer, some touching the shrine or lifting a hand. Some people hold phones. The scene suggests a devotional circumambulation or shrine veneration.2018-01-17Photo 11716776A photograph at a stone temple precinct where a woman in orange sari with gold necklace and armlet bends low, pressing her forehead to a carved granite block. Beside her a man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands with palms joined in namaskar, and a man in orange holds a silver tray with a small vessel. Behind them a crowd of men in white dhotis and shirts and orange-clad devotees stand against a weathered stone wall with scaffolding and a tiled roof at right.2012-08-17December 29 20102010-12-29December 20 20112011-12-20Photo 11716774 +1 copiesPhoto 11722094Outdoor temple courtyard scene with a crowd of devotees in white dhotis and shirts, many wearing orange shawls. Grey stone pillars and a pink building with arches form the background.2006-09-24Photo 11716824A photograph at a temple courtyard of a ritual exchange. A shaved-headed elderly man in orange robes holds a brass tray toward a bare-chested man in orange dhoti with rudraksha mala and tilak marks, who receives it with both hands. Around them, devotees in white shirts and dhotis wear orange shawls and stand with folded hands. A woman in white holds a camera. A yellow box with a marble floor and a pink-and-white garland hanging overhead complete the scene.2008-08-03June 29 20182018-06-29April 29 20182018-04-29 +1 copies
