Several men wear orange or saffron cloths over their shoulders, and some have white and yellow forehead markings. One man in the centre-right wears a cream-coloured dhoti with a dark beaded necklace. Blurred hands, bangles and wristbands fill the foreground against a red wall.2018-01-15June 28 20182018-06-28October 08 20182018-10-08Young men in white and orange robes perform a stick dance in a marble-floored hall. Dancers hold multicoloured sticks, with blue, green, yellow and pink tips, and strike them together in pairs while stepping in a line. Several wear orange dhotis and kurta-style white tunics, one in a white shirt and red trousers, and others bare-chested with ash markings on their foreheads and rudraksha beads. Bare feet and motion blur suggest a lively group performance during a satsang or programme.2016-10-04June 23 20182018-06-23October 16 20182018-10-16A photograph of a crowded group dance during Navaratri-style celebrations inside a hall. Many participants hold up thin colourful sticks in purple, green, pink, yellow and red, raised into a crossing pattern. Men in white kurtas and white dhotis with red-and-orange shawls dominate, several wearing white headbands. In the foreground at lower left, a person in an orange and yellow garment with rudraksha beads and long dark hair stands out. A framed devotional painting of a goddess hangs on the far wall, and a window with an orange-toned view sits to the left.2016-10-03Photo 11709698
