A seated man in white ceremonial dhoti and shawl with a red rudraksha mala and gold chain sits on an ornate golden throne with red cushions in a temple hall, flanked by painted blue and pink pillars with golden deity figures holding tridents. Hanging garlands and brass lamps are above him. Seated devotees on red carpets face the throne: a young man in white, women in orange, blue, green and pink saris, and an orange-robed monk with folded hands bowing. The man on the throne has a shaved head and no visible saffron or swept hair cues, so identity is uncertain.2012-04-26A photograph of a ceremonial stage backed by painted walls with two large gilded standing deity murti figures holding staffs and lotus-like emblems.
