A photograph of a devotional blessing in a ceremonial room. A long-haired man with a white forehead mark, a gold necklace and a maroon shawl, shirtless, presses his palm to the forehead of a white-clad man who wears a rudraksha mala and raises his other hand in a gesture of respect. A gilded deity murti with a crown stands on a table in front of them, beside a copper vessel. Behind them, a seated priest in white with a white forehead mark and rudraksha beads watches, and standing devotees in white and orange clothing are visible in the background. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), in person, wearing a maroon shawl, gold necklaces and long swept-back hair, performing a forehead blessing.2017-06-18Jun 18 2017Photo 11714943Photo 11705836 +1 copiesApril 24 20172017-04-24 +1 copiesJun 27 2017 +1 copiesAugust 09 20172017-08-09 +2 copiesA close photograph of a ritual blessing. A man with long dark dreadlocks and a reddish-brown wrap, wearing rudraksha malas on his arms and chest and a gold-toned ornate necklace, presses his right hand to the forehead of an older man with grey hair. The older man, shirtless, wears an orange shawl printed with script and a rudraksha mala, and his eyes are lowered. Behind them a golden deity murti stands near a small green plant, and additional people in white and orange garments, including a young boy in an orange cloth, are blurred in the background. The person giving the blessing shows distinctive long hair and rudraksha adornments, but the appearance-based identity is uncertain, so the role is described as the officiant giving the forehead blessing.2017-07-02 +1 copiesApril 22 20172017-04-22Jun 27 2017August 09 20172017-08-09 +2 copiesJun 25 2017
