The male figure wears a jeweled gold crown with a crescent moon, holds a trident and a damaru-like drum, and is dressed in white and gold with a red and gold shawl. The female figure beside him wears a tall jeweled crown, a blue and gold garment, and heavy silver and gold necklaces. Both are framed by white jasmine and red-and-green flower garlands. In front, a large gold kalasha-style peetha with a black linga and gold-lidded vessel sits on a decorated base, surrounded by flower garlands, a small brass lamp and marigold offerings. Pink and red silk drapes hang at the sides. The statues are deity murti, not living people. +1 copiesNovember 07 20172017-11-07October 25 20172017-10-25A photograph of two gilded deity murti seated side by side on a raised platform before a red draped backdrop within an ornate gold arch.
