He wears a rust-red turban with a crescent emblem, a rust-red robe, a pink and white flower garland, layered gold chains and a large gold pendant, and holds a brass bell aloft. Two shirtless priests in white dhotis with rust-red shawls sit before him, one holding a brass vessel, while a seated woman in dark clothes with hands together watches. Brass lamps hang on chains at the sides and strings of small lights decorate the backdrop. The central figure matches the page's cues of a turban and ornate gold, so this is a person seated on a throne receiving puja.2017-05-12May 12 20172017-05-12June 08 20172017-06-08 +1 copiesMay 12 20172017-05-12May 12 20172017-05-12Jun 20 2017A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-leaf throne with leopard-print cushions, flanked by lion-head armrests, beneath a gold canopy strung with small lamps and yellow garlands. The seated person wears a black turban, has a tilak on the forehead, and is dressed in saffron/orange robes with layered rudraksha malas and a gold necklace, eyes closed, hands folded in meditation. Two people in white garments sit in the foreground with their backs to the camera, and a few other seated figures are partly visible at the edges. Gold bells and a lamp hang beside the throne. The seated figure's dress matches the appearance cues of the page's a person reference, so the identification is probable.2018-03-25A seated man in a maroon-brown robe and matching turban sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, holding a bell in one hand, wearing layered gold necklaces and a pink-and-white garland. Two bare-chested young men in white dhotis sit at the base of the throne, and a woman in dark clothing sits to the right. A gold canopy hangs above with small oil lamps and strings of lights, flanked by painted deity statues in orange and gold. The scene appears to be a puja at a temple-style shrine, with colourful striped cloth on the floor.2017-05-12May 12 20172017-05-12
