A man in orange-saffron robes with long swept-back hair sits on a red quilted cushion atop a white cloth, his bare feet on a leopard-print mat, while a man in white dhoti and shirt kneels before him holding yellow envelopes. Behind them, another saffron-robed monk stands and holding yellow envelopes stands near the carved stone shrine with brass lamps. Other people in saffron and white sit against the wall. The seated figure shows distinctive visible cues (long hair, saffron robe) so the appearance is a probable match to the page subject, though this is an appearance-based label only; he is seated in a position of honour receiving an offering.2008-02-12Indoor temple-style scene in which a man in a red-orange shawl and gold bangles reads from a sheet of paper while wearing a long beaded gold necklace over saffron-red clothing with a red bindi and white forehead markings. Beside him stand several men with white tripundra forehead marks: one in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, one in red garments with a beaded mala, and one in white dhoti with long hair. A younger man in a white shirt and red shawl stands at left with palms pressed together in a namaste greeting. Behind them a golden throne-like seat and lit lamps glow within an ornate shrine backdrop. Several people are visible, including partially visible figures at the edges.2013-04-06 +1 copiesMarch 18 20172017-03-18April 05 20172017-04-05A photograph of a row of seated men in white dhotis with gold borders and orange-red shawls during a devotional gathering. The man second from left has his palms pressed together in prayer and wears a large gold-bead mala; the man in the centre holds an open notebook and wears a red rudraksha mala and glasses; the man on the right wears an orange shawl and rudraksha beads with sacred ash on his forehead. Red curtains and a stage form the backdrop. No candidate for a person is visibly identifiable from appearance, so their roles are described as devotees and participants.2017-08-11April 28 20172017-04-28
