A smiling man sits on an ornate silver throne-like palanquin under a silver canopy, decorated with peacock feathers and tall tassels in red, orange, green, blue and yellow. He wears a rust-orange dhoti, a long pink-and-white garland, a gold pendant and layered gold necklaces, and a rudraksha-style mala, with a red tilak on his forehead and gold-and-red bangles. Red and gold drapes hang behind him. Hands reach toward him from the crowd at the front edge, and a red-and-gold flag is visible at left. The palanquin is part of a festival procession.2017-03-13March 13 20172017-03-13October 20 20172017-10-20Photo 11706053December 02 20172017-12-02 +1 copiesPhoto 11706015 +3 copiesPhoto 11710145March 13 20172017-03-13October 20 20172017-10-20
