Photo 11712144July 25 20172017-07-25April 29 20172017-04-29Five people sit on a stage before an ornate golden throne backdrop with a golden tree canopy and red curtains. At centre, a man with long hair and a rudraksha mala, wearing orange-brown robes and a gold necklace, sits on a large gold throne with hands in anjali; this appearance matches a person by long hair, rudraksha mala, ornate gold necklace and saffron-toned robes. Flanking him are a man in saffron robes with an orange turban on the far left, a man in light saffron robes beside him, and on the right a man in white dhoti and shirt with hands folded and a woman in a pink sari. Golden thrones with lion carvings and a trident stand behind them, and a mic and brass offering stands sit on the carpeted dais.2017-03-18March 09 20172017-03-09Photo 11713312Photo 11712370January 28 20172017-01-28 +1 copiesA photograph of five people seated on a stage in prayer pose with palms pressed together. In the foreground, a woman in white with a rudraksha mala and a man in a white dhoti with a yellow border sit on colourful striped mats. Behind them, two people in orange robes sit with hands folded. A large golden elephant statue stands at left beside an ornate golden throne. At right, a golden throne with a cobra-hood canopy holds a printed portrait of a bearded man in orange garments with rudraksha malas, gold necklaces and an orange turban, and a trident stands beside it. Red draped curtains and a tree trunk form the backdrop. The scene suggests a darshan-style ceremony with devotees in prayer.2017-06-27March 18 20172017-03-18Photo 11743632 +1 copiesA photograph of a ritual puja at an ornate temple-style stage. A figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron robe, a rudraksha mala and a gold bracelet, sits cross-legged with hands folded on a large gold throne with red cushions. A probable Swamiji appearance cue is the long swept-back hair with orange-saffron robe and rudraksha mala. Six people in white and cream ritual dress sit on the floor before him: two men in white dhotis, a woman in a white sari, a woman in a cream sari, a boy in white, and a man in white with hands joined in prayer. One priest in a white dhoti holds a flower or offering. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, a vase of orange and yellow flowers sits on a low table, and a large painted backdrop of deity figures in red and pink surrounds the scene.2011-02-26
