Several performers form a tiered, acrobatic formation with arms and legs extended; a central figure kneels in front while a bare-chested performer with a golden-brown headpiece stands at the centre. Red and yellow draped fabric panels, stage lighting rigs, a large screen showing similar performers, blue padded mats and black speakers surround the stage. Spectators sit at the sides wearing headpieces. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in the frame.2017-12-18May 13 20172017-05-13Photo 11714971 +1 copiesAugust 13 20172017-08-13 +1 copiesPhoto 11714977 +2 copiesOutdoor photo of a gymnastic-style Mallakhamba-type display on a blue mat. A shirtless man in orange shorts stands at the top of a tall wooden pole with hands joined in greeting. Below, several men in white dhotis and bare torsos support the pole and stretch their arms outward, one older white-bearded man in white dhoti with a cord necklace at the centre. Behind them stands a yellow bamboo scaffold frame and a rounded structure, with trees and a dusty ground. At the right edge, more men in orange shorts and white cloths watch.2017-07-10August 13 20172017-08-13 +1 copiesA large indoor hall with a red swagged curtain shows a mallakhamb-style performance: several shirtless young male performers in orange and red briefs form a human pyramid around a central wooden pole, with one performer standing at the top and others gripping and balancing on the pole. Below, seated and standing audience members, many shirtless or in white and orange clothing, watch from a blue mat area. A performer in yellow shorts stands near the right edge beside a camera on a tripod, and a small banner reads Mayuraasana-like text above the stage. Two women in white saris stand at the left near a screen showing an image. Ceiling fluorescent lights and fans are visible.2017-08-13May 03 20172017-05-03
