A group sits in a loose circle on a raised kerb. At centre, a bearded man in a rust-orange robe with a white forehead mark sits and gestures while smiling. Beside him, a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red-and-white cloth sits with a small white cup. Around them, orange-robed devotees with rudraksha malas and gold pendants sit or stand, including a woman in orange and a woman in orange with beads. On the right, women in cream and gold-bordered white saris sit listening, one with hands clasped near her chin. A standing man in orange robes with a cloth wrap stands behind on the left. Partially visible people in white sit in the foreground. Several people are seated, roughly ten to twelve in view.2017-02-07December 20 20112011-12-20Outdoor photo of a large crowd seated in prayer with hands pressed together in namaskar. In the foreground, a young man with long dark hair wears an orange sleeveless robe, a gold ornamental necklace with large gold beads, a rudraksha-style mala, and a white forehead band with a red mark. Around him, several men in orange robes with gold and bead necklaces kneel with heads bowed, and behind them devotees in white kurtas with yellow shawls and rudraksha malas pray. Women in white and white-haired older men are also visible. Yellow and purple flowers lie near the front. The scene suggests a devotional gathering of devotees and saffron-robed sannyasis.2010-01-08December 20 20112011-12-20December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copies
