February 07 20172017-02-07Night street photograph of a festival procession in a busy town, with blurred blue and white street lights and shopfronts behind. At centre, a bearded man with long dark hair and a white forehead mark wears a rust-brown unstitched cloth wrap and a long brown rudraksha-style bead mala, smiling and raising a hand in greeting. Around him, men in bright yellow shirts and green or red waist cloths press close, and a young man in orange cloth with a white sandal mark on his forehead and chest and beaded necklaces stands to the right. Several people are visible, and the scene reads as a devotional street procession.2017-02-07 +1 copiesFebruary 07 20172017-02-07Night street procession in a busy Indian town, lit by bright lamps and a glowing decorative arch in the background. At the centre, a smiling bearded man with long swept-back hair and a white forehead mark wears a large garland of white, yellow, orange, pink and green flowers over a rust-orange shawl. Around him, devotees press close: a young man with a white and red forehead mark and bare chest wearing gold chain ornaments, a smiling man in a yellow shirt with a maroon cloth over his shoulder, and a bald-headed older man in white with his back to the camera. Several people in white shirts and tilak marks crowd the foreground. Swamiji (probable) is identified by the long swept-back hair, rust-orange shawl and garland, though the appearance is only moderately distinctive.2017-02-07February 07 20172017-02-07 +1 copiesNight street scene during a procession, with bright lights and a glowing illuminated structure behind the crowd.
