Behind it, many small black shivalinga-style stone pillars line tiered red steps. A man in orange dhoti and shawl stands at right, bare-chested with long hair and a rudraksha mala, holding a brass bell and a small oil lamp or incense vessel from which smoke rises. Two other men in orange clothes sit at the far right beside brass vessels and flower garlands, one shaven-headed. Morning ritual setting, possibly abhishekam or puja offering.2017-02-26February 20 20172017-02-20November 23 20162016-11-23A photograph of a ritual at a red stepped ghat lined with dark stone shivalingams.
