Photo 11710123January 03 20162016-01-03A large outdoor procession moves along a dirt road past low white and beige buildings under a clear blue sky. Many devotees, mostly dressed in white kurtas and saris with orange shawls and white dhotis, walk closely together. Colourful umbrellas in orange, yellow, green and blue with fringed edges are held aloft, and orange and red flags fly along the route. Children in pink, yellow and green clothing walk among the crowd, and a white animal is visible near the centre of the procession. Several people carry umbrellas and flags toward the right side of the frame, with a water tank and utility poles in the background.2008-12-29January 18 20172017-01-18December 23 20082008-12-23A wide outdoor procession moves along a dirt road at a temple complex under a clear hazy sky. Dozens of men in white shirts and white dhotis walk in a dense crowd, many with folded hands. On the right, a group of sannyasis wear orange and saffron robes, and a few devotees wear maroon and red shawls. Behind them, a decorated vehicle and ceremonial umbrellas, including orange and yellow ones, lead the procession, with a red-and-orange decorated float in the distance. A large red multi-storey building and stone piles stand in the background, with grandstand seating on the right. Some people are dressed in colourful everyday clothes.2013-12-27A large outdoor procession moves along a dirt road past white tents and low buildings under a clear sky. Ahead, a central figure in saffron-orange robes walks beneath a golden-rimmed umbrella and a ceremonial canopy, flanked by orange and yellow ornamented parasols. Devotees in white dhotis and kurtas and white saris with saffron borders walk alongside, many holding flowers, and orange flags on tall poles rise throughout the crowd. A portrait banner is visible at the left edge. The scene suggests a ratha-style procession with umbrellas and flags. The central figure appears to be a person in saffron robes, with appearance cues that are not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity.2008-12-27December 29 20082008-12-29December 29 20082008-12-29January 03 20162016-01-03December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesPhoto 11704040 +1 copies
