Vertical tilak marks are on his forehead. He stands in a plain white-walled room with a wooden door behind him; a blurred figure is at the lower left edge. The lamp flames are bright and the scene reads as a ritual lamp offering during a devotional gathering.2016-08-16January 11 20172017-01-11A shaved-headed man stands in profile, bare-chested and wearing an orange dhoti, with white horizontal sacred ash strokes on his arms, chest and forehead and a dark rudraksha mala across his torso. He raises a tiered brass aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps in both hands, performing an aarti ritual. Behind him, several people in orange garments sit on the floor in rows, some with small lamps and offering trays; a young girl in orange wears a forehead mark and sits near the front. A wooden door and framed photographs hang on the cream walls, and a yellow LED sign glows above the door.2017-01-04November 18 20182018-11-18
