Photo 11708865December 28 20172017-12-28Outdoor ritual scene with a standing figure viewed from behind, wearing a rust-red dhoti-style garment, a dark belt, and a brown sash, with long black dreadlocks falling to the waist and white ash marks on the upper arms. The figure holds a silver rod or ceremonial implement and stands barefoot on a yellow and multicoloured woven mat. Before them is an ornate silver throne-like seat with a silver canopy and elaborate silver-repoussé carvings, flanked by silver vessels, a silver kalasha-style pot, bowls and silver urns. Dark stone deity murtis adorned with marigold and red-and-white flower garlands stand at the left, and a microphone stand is positioned nearby. Trees and a misty sky form the background.2017-12-28December 28 20172017-12-28A photograph of a standing figure seen from behind on an outdoor stage. The person has very long, dark dreadlocks reaching the waist, bare upper body with white markings on the arms, a rust-orange dhoti, and a rudraksha mala at the waist, holding a silver-coloured object in one hand. Before them stands an ornate silver peetha throne with a silver canopy, a silver deity murti in a niche garlanded with white flowers, silver kalasha pots on stands, a brass lamp, and a yellow and multicolour cloth on the floor. A microphone stand is nearby. The figure appears to be a person, identified by the long dreadlocks, rudraksha mala and ceremonial attire, presiding over the ritual setting.2017-12-28December 20 20172017-12-20Photo 11714684 +2 copiesDecember 20 20172017-12-20December 20 20172017-12-20December 20 20172017-12-20December 20 20172017-12-20December 20 20172017-12-20
