One hand holds a small drum-like object and another raises a conch-like item. Carved reliefs of small figures decorate the base. Behind the statue hang magenta curtains beneath an ornate silver-coloured arch, with trees and a metal barrier visible at left. No physical people are present.2014-08-11December 22 20162016-12-22November 23 20182018-11-23A bearded man in saffron-orange robes sits smiling on an ornate gilded throne with two golden lion figures on a red velvet base, on a stage. Behind him towers a large dark statue of a multi-armed deity wearing a red turban, layered gold and jewelled necklaces, and red-and-gold draped cloth, set against a starry blue backdrop with rock formations and small dark figures. The man wears a red bindi, a saffron shawl over his shoulder and a red wrist thread. Swamiji (probable): the man has a long swept-back hair and saffron clothing on a central throne, a distinctive presentation consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji.2016-12-19
