Above, a painted arch shows a seated deity with a raised hand and a companion, flanked by carved white bulls. Two dark statues in white dhoti-like garments with garlands stand at the sides, and brass lamp stands and offerings rest before the shrine. Flanking standing statues hold garlands. In front, a large linga-shaped image is decorated with yellow and red flower garlands and gold ornaments, with brass oil lamps, a kalasha-like brass vessel and offerings on the platform. Stone pillars with carved motifs frame the shrine. No living people are visible, so this is a photograph of statues and a sanctum rather than a satsang or event scene.2014-11-04 +1 copiesA seated man in a silk robe with a white and red chair and saffron-red garment wears a long gold necklace and rudraksha mala. He sits before a golden temple shrine with a deity murti, garlanded with purple and white flowers, and a red curtained alcove on the right holding a standing figure with a garland. Flower garlands, a gold kalasha-like object and brass lamps surround the altar. A dark stone-framed shrine with orange and red curtains holds a deity murti of a seated figure with a trident and crown, garlanded with yellow and red flowers, with a golden kalasha-like crown and an ornate yellow cloth backdrop. In front stands an ornate golden throne-like seat (peetha) holding a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with a garland. Brass oil lamps stand along the shrine. Several seated devotees in dark clothing face the shrine from behind a metal railing in the foreground, with a fully visible person in grey clothing seated centrally at the front.2010-09-29
