In the foreground, a bearded man with long hair pours liquid from a silver vessel over an ornate gold-trimmed altar with white and red flower garlands. Beside him, a man with a bearded face and palms pressed together sits with a bell in hand, and a man on the left holds a bell and wears a gold necklace. Behind the altar, a red and gold throne draped in orange cloth and flower garlands stands empty. Two people are seen from behind in the bottom foreground, one with a long braid. The scene suggests abhishekam or puja at a temple event. Probable Swamiji appears as the bearded man in the centre pouring the offering, wearing long swept-back hair, a gold necklace and saffron-orange robes.2008-01-01Outdoor photo at a Pongal/Makara Sankranti setting near palm trees. A woman in an orange sari with hair in a bun stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, facing a seated figure on a gold chair draped with a leopard-print cloth. The seated figure wears a red-orange turban, a red garment, and a white flower garland, with a large gold bowl on the seat beside them. A man in a white dhoti and bare chest stands with arms folded to the left. In front are a clay pot on a small stove, brass plates, and a white kolam lotus drawing on the ground. Behind is a mesh-enclosed booth with a large printed backdrop and a framed information board. Four people are visible.2024-01-15
